Partnering with Redivis on Access to Secure Datasets
We announced a partnership with Redivis to integrate identity verification into research data workflows — supporting open science with privacy-preserving identity proofing that researchers use and oversee.
Redivis helps research organizations distribute large, sensitive datasets securely. Together we aim to let researchers access the data they need while maintaining robust security.
Redivis co-founder Ian Mathews: "Identity verification is essential to establishing trust in the research data ecosystem, particularly when sensitive data are involved." He pointed to the friction of inconsistent identity providers and institutional transitions.
The partners are developing shared use cases and cross-platform verification workflows, with integration targeted for October 2025. Co-founder Chris Phillips: researcher mobility and trust should not be mutually exclusive.
