Step 2: Partner Program Launch
With our internal proof-of-concept complete, we moved forward with partner organizations to test privacy-first identity verification workflows — demonstrating researcher-managed identity credentials across facilities, funders, data centers, and dissemination platforms.
We also expanded cooperative governance: policies covering privacy, cookies, and terms of service, plus infrastructure for voting and meetings. The technical build integrates a global identity verification provider with multi-factor authentication and account sharing controls.
The Partner Program launched in August with three monthly meetings before public platform launch. Partners receive early access to identity-proofing technology without handling sensitive personal information, direct input on API design, first-year subscription discounts, and eligibility for board nomination.
